Inspired by the client’s love for both the ambiance of Provence and the rustic charm of a South African farm shed, this project captures the essence of both styles, delivering a contemporary take on a French-styled home. The work beautifully illustrates Arcterio’s ability to blend diverse stylistic influences into a cohesive and design.
As you approach from the east, the home preserves its privacy from the road, with a discreet front door that opens into a cozy living area. Natural light floods the space from the north, while a deeply covered western walkway provides serene views of the garden and pool. This thoughtful layout ensures both seclusion and a seamless connection to the outdoors.
Flooding Spaces with Light and Life
The interior design features soft, rounded arches and doorways, lending a timeless elegance to the home. Exposed beams and wrought iron accents introduce a warm, country charm that harmonizes with the suburban setting. These elements create a welcoming and sophisticated environment, perfect for modern living with a rustic twist.
Natural earth tones dominate the color palette, blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
